1. I came to college because i wanted to prove to myself and my family that i was not going to quit and that i will become a successful person.
2. The best experience I’ve had in college so far is sharing the experience of college with the friends that i havein LaGuardia.
3. The most challenging experience I’ve had in college is finishing so much papers due around the same exact time.
4. This semester, my greatest accomplishment has been finishing and completing all my papers that were due.
5. If I could do one thing differently, I would study harder and come to class with a positive attitude.
6. Next semester, I would like to raise my grades and prove to myself that no matter how hard a task is i am capable of completing it.
My best piece of advice for college freshmen is dont leave assignments for the last minute, you'll go crazy if you do so.
In a nutshell, my first semester in college has been pretty decent.

Setting & achieving goals
After one week of monitoring my time, i discovered that i tend to get off track as soon as i hear music because then i get the urge to stop doing work & dance.
i want to spend more time on homeworks & essays.
i want to spend less time on dance practice.
i was surprised that i spent so much time on thinking of new moves, future competitons & video games.
i was surprise that i spent so little time on my school work.
i had strong feelings about my use of time when i started on my english class essay 2 days before. It was so frustrating because it made me think harder than i needed to.

What i learned about personal responsibility
I've learned that in order to be successful you must be responsible for your own actions. Prioritize what happens in your life so everything is organized. Be independent and dont depend on anyone because at the end of the day its only going to be you. Have a positive attitude and have self-motivate because a persons own motivation is all it takes to be successful.

Differences between HS and College
Sheeesh there is definently a BIG difference between HS and college. The majority level in college is so soothing to me. In HS everything was drama, immaturity, fights over pencils, who said what, who dating who and all of it was pure nonsence. The classes are different in length, professors teach different then teachers and the environment itself makes a person change their view on things. I love college and it definently changed my attitude towards life
Challenge: Meeting new friends/social life
Actions: 1. Opening myself to others. Not being so to myself and actually get involve and communicate with other students.
2. Be opened minded. Start conversations with other students, even if its about the smallest things.
